Qommittee’s first ever national benefit drive with shows in cities across america. We’re trying to raise our 2027 annual budget, one show at a time.

What we've built from almost nothing
Qommittee started in May 2024 with ten drag performers and no money. Survivors of Club Q and Pulse. An artist whose venue was attacked. A performer who found her home address posted by strangers. Nobody had shown up for them, so they built the thing they wished had existed.
Two years later: nearly 200 performers and 70,000 supporters, from zero.
When a man threatened to shoot up the only drag show in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, we helped the cast turn the next one into the biggest show the town had ever seen. The Colorado Sun
When drag was banned from the Kennedy Center, four DC performers walked into opening night of Les Mis in full drag and got a standing ovation. More than 118,000 people have signed our petition to the Center's donors. Washington Blade
When Florida's attorney general started demanding footage from venues, we had a Know Your Rights guide out within weeks, and rewrote it in 48 hours when the law came back. Metro Weekly
When a performer anywhere is threatened, another performer calls. More than 50 times now. The Drag Defense Handbook, 43 pages, free, written by performers and attorneys, came out of those calls. NPR

The receipts
Performers on what Qommittee has meant to them.
Where the money goes
Running Qommittee for a year costs $50,000. That's the whole budget. The Drag Drive won't raise all of it, and we're not pretending it will. It's how we start 2027 with something in the bank instead of nothing.
Here's what you're paying for. Last year, out of every dollar Qommittee spent:

Nothing went to rent. Nothing to salaries. Nothing to travel. We'll spend 2027 the same way.
Your money pays performer-organizers a small stipend to run rapid response and peer support, so the person picking up the phone is a drag artist who's been there. It pays attorneys to check our guides. It keeps the tools running that hold 200 performers in 13 states together.
